NSS

University of Pune has sanctioned a unit of 250 volunteers. The unit performs activities like digging of countinous contour trench, tree plantation, watershade management and survey of child labour. Besides, these activities the unit conducts AIDS awareness programme, celebration of Youth – week, important anniversaries, organization of lectures on various topics like water literacy, personality development, and role of youth in rural development. The unit conducts a special camp on the theme directed by the University every year.
