Invited Lectures:
I delivered a guest-lecture at Two-Day Workshop on Students’ Personality Development (Aadivasi Seva Samiti’s Arts, Commerce and Science College, Manur) on Various Aspects of Personality Development on 16/02/2024.
Involvement in Students-Related Activities:
The Department of English had its inception in June, 1983. The fringe of specialization was appended to it in June, 1993 with 14 students opting English at General Level. Since then the Department has been seeking its qualitative and quantitative development. About 50% of the students studying in this department come from Scheduled Tribes, who face financial, social, and educational challenges. Most of the students’ parents work as agricultural labourers. These students struggle with English language skills. To improve their job prospects and academic performance, the Department offers activities like Students’ Seminars, Film Screenings, Dialogue Readings, Story Narrations, Paper Readings, and others to enhance their English communication skills.
